I am home. So far this has not been as difficult as LBL recovery...thank God. My surgery took 4 hours yesterday. I will post pics when I am a bit more lucid...

I can't wait to hear all about your experience and see your pix. I am debating whether to have my thighplasty when I get my implants, or with my butt lift, arm lift and flankplasty, and breast lift. I am concerned about a difficult recovery.

I hope you get everything you want from it!!!

Well I can tell you this...thank goodness I have good upper body and core strength. You will need it to help you maneuver around after a thighplasty. I could not imagine having my arms done with my legs...you would truly be incapacitated. Having an LBL a year and a half ago was the worst!

Right now I have the biggest headache...I guess it is because I am coming down off the Dilaudid drip they had me on in the hospital...

That is what I am thinking... but my surgeon and his PA are telling me if I do them all together that it will not be painful like my tummy tuck. I have serious doubts about that.

I also think that seeing all those incisions all over my body at once will be emotionally hard to handle.

For some reason, OH and the IPad don't like each other so I will have to try and post pics from my iPhone tomorrow. Stay tuned. I have a follow up appt with the surgeon tomorrow so I get to see what is underneath all the ace bandages, gauze, and tape. My drains have not been draining a lot (same thing like my LBL). I am shuffling around at a snail's pace and I am walking as if I just got off a very long horse ride! Swell hell, too. But my spirits are great and my Mom has transformed her place into a B and B (complete with a daily menu) so I am very blessed and fortunate to have such a great caregiver.

My summary and pics are posted. I will post more pics after my gauze is removed tomorrow.

Wow, you look great! You really did not have that much to remove from your LBL or thigh lift. Thanks for posting the great pix and details of your experience. I actually went back and added up the costs that my surgeon gave me for the two scenarios. It is the same cost either way. I don't know why I thought it was much more expensive to do it one way versus the other.

Keep us posted on your recovery. Do you have anything more planned for your plastics?

Funny you should ask...yes. Most likely I will have some excess skin removed around my armpit and back of my arms. And since he will be in the location, I might have the smallest implant put in and pick up my boobs, too. I am an avid runner so I do not want larger boobs. But from what my surgeon has said, it is virtually impossible to lift th boobs without using some type of small implant. I will probably have that procedure done in October/November. Then I will be officially done!

Since the costs are the same whether you bundle your surgeries or do them at two different times, what are you thinking?

I got my drains out yesterday and all the bandages are off. Scar line looks amazing. But it is starting to itch. Eek!!!
