six weeks out

Had a 2nd surgery at about 4 weeks out from LBL. At that time PS inserted a bigger tube in the mons area. Painful! He removed it last Thursday and it was full of blood clots. So gross.

So now my tummy is back to being swollen like I'm pregnant. PS said last week he'd stick a needle in my this coming week. I'm so nervous. Anyone else have that done? I pray I don't have another tube inserted.

Oh no!! Sorry you are still having issues. I did not experience anything like that.

I developed huge seroma after PS removed drain after 3  weeks. He drain it with needle for 1 year, but it did not go away.

Finally, my seroma was surgically  removed after 1 year after my TT.

I hope yours will reabsorb by it self.

I did not feel needle because I was numb.

Sorry you have been thru this. When your drains were removed at 3 weeks had they stopped draining? I'm sorry I can't add anything to help your situation...I'm only 12 days post op. All 4 of my drains are out. Last 2 came out yesterday and I have very little drainage. Hope this resolves soon for you. Kacey

Well, when the 3 drains were removed, they had stopped putting out fluid. I had the last one in until it got clogged, then the huge tube inserted until IT got clogged.

I pray I don't have to keep going back to get his belly drained. I look pregnant again. He even told me that my stomach won't be flat now because of all this swelling.

Thank God I didn't need another tube or surgery. I HATED having the needle aspiration but it was necessary. He couldn't find fluid. Said I just need to deal with the swelling. Fine with me. I'll deal with a swollen belly but my anxiety couldn't handle another tube or surgery. Seriously. I almost died with my bypass and this surgery took me five years to get the nerve to do. I'm done! No more for me. This girl is finished w/ surgeries on purpose!
