How much time off work does one need to take having their arms done.  I am not a whimp, but I just might be!

I just had mine on April 11.

Everyone told me that this surgery is piece of cake. Let me tell you that it was very painful  for me.

I came back to work at 2 weeks and I was in pain every day.

I could not take Percocet at work. Advil did not helped at all, not tylenol Thanks god my manager let me work short day for 3 weeks.

I felt much better by week 6.

I hope yours will not be so painful.

I wish you good luck.

I could have returned easily after 10 days, but already took another week off so I stayed home. My arm recovery was pretty easy. The first 3 days were tough, but after that smooth sailing.

I could have returned to desk work at 1 week post op. You want to wait much longer for any lifting/reaching.
