Considering total body transformation, all advice and opinions welcomed

It is good to know the face is so painful. I will be sure to do that surgery separately. I have got to get it done. 

I had the LBL (which does pull up the front, side and back of your thighs, along with lifting your butt as much as the surgeon can w/o making it totally flat) also had the butt flap inserted into my upper butt.  With that I had a breast lift, which took me from a 40 floppy D, to perky 38D.  My arms and a small groin only thigh lift (fixes the loose skin between your legs, pulls up a little on the inner thigh.  12 hrs with an epidural and twilight sedation.  If the body work had been painful, I'm not sure I would have gone ahead with my full neck and face lift 4 days later (appox 7 hrs).  The face hurt more than all the body.  Mostly it was due to the strap putting my ears on the stitches behind and above my ears.  It took probably 6-9mo before I had feeling throughout my face, there's still a couple little areas at the base of my ears by my jaw that are still numb.  Doesn't bother me..

My arms weren't really bad, but annoying enough to fix while I was in the OR.  I do love my new Saucedas, it's hard to pick out what is best when I've had almost everything done now.  I went back in Jan for an upper body lift to remove the loose skin on my upper back and Dr S revised my left arm and mons area (6+ hrs).

My face is amazing.  Dr Sauceda won't pull you tight so that you look scary.  I still have some fine lines by my eyes, but I don't look like I'm 61 either...

Fixing what annoys you the most, then decide.  I wanted the least amount of recovery periods.  I took off 8 weeks for the body and face and 3 weeks for the upper body lift.  I was in very little pain with my plastics.  Maybe a total of 10 percocets after the face and that included 3 for my trip home.  

Heck no - you do NOT look 61 years of age. You go girl!

what is a butt flap? I did not know that the lift would make my butt flatter. It is already flat.

I assume she was talking about the autoaugmentation. I got that with my lower body lift because I would have had a totally flat butt after the lift without it. It's where they take the tissue that was removed from the butt with the lift and fold it over to place back in the butt area. I wanted the fat transfer, too (brazilian butt lift) but did not have enough fat for that.

My surgeon does not do auto augmentation. I would like a nice *ss. I am going to have a second consult with him about what my backside will look like. Maybe he is willing to do the butt flap procedure.

Dr Sauceda takes the fat during the lower body lift that he is removing.  Removes the skin, then places the fat piece into the upper part of the butt.  Do a search here for butt flaps and I have pics showing where he took the skin and the placement on the upper butt.

Chris, I remember when you had all that done, and thought you must have an amazing capacity of pain.   Now, from just sitting here from my one week out muscle repair perspective, I KNOW you must be Super Woman!    You've got to look stupendous!  I do wish that I'd had the money for a full LBL.   I figure if I'm going to be lying here for two weeks just for the front, it might as well be for the back too!   

Actually, I have a very low pain tolerance.  I'm not sure if it's the epidural, but there was very little pain except for the face.  Tightness, soreness and being uncomfortable, but no real pain.  Even after I was off the IV meds, the oral was fine, until the ears were pinned back and rested on the stitches.  That was pretty much constant pain, not horrid, but enough to make me want to take a narcotic.  But the ladies that put something behind the ears didn't complain.  If it would have been too painful, I made Tom promise to make me go in for the face lift, but there wasn't much pain.  Sorry you are going through pain, it's not fun...  Even when I went back for the upper body lift, I didn't take all the pain meds that I was given, came home with some and didn't take any of mine that I took down.

Can you imagine, my whole under right arm opened again after 3 month!
