3 days post op from LBL and if it weren't for the nausea I would be sailing thru this! Anyone have trouble with this post op? Any tips?

I did not have nausea, I am 2 wks out. But I know that nausea could be from meds or diet.  Do you have any other symptoms, like fever or shortness of breath? If you have any other symptoms, or if the nausea gets worse, I think you should call your dr asap. (But if its just nausea, and not too bad, you could try changing your diet a little, like eating a protein bar instead of a protein shake. When I have had nausea in the past. I found it would resolve if I ate something solid- even like gluten free, crackers or a high protein bar) I hope you feel better soon.

I had an extended anchor cut tummy tuck with lipo and vaginal hysterectomy 3 weeks ago....I suffered from nausea the first week, then extreme migraine for 2 days. I was given meds to help with both....call your doctor, they will give you something for the upset tummy. You need to make sure to keep hydrated above all else, don't worry too much about eating.

Pain meds and post-anesthesia gut bacteria changes can do that to ya.  I had some nausea.  Saltines helped, you may want to try a few.

I had some nausea after my TT and arm lift. Ask your doc for a script for Zofran. It will take your nausea right away.
