Insurance APPROVAL, Time off ?

Well my insurance approved my request for a pani removal, now I dont know how to approach my boss (man) to ask for the time off.  Will be embarasing for sure, any suggestions?  How much time did you have off, I am upgrading to a TT, but no lipo.

I would just tell him you're having abdominal surgery. No need to go into more detail. I just graduated and am unemployed (reason why I had my surgery now) but I would say 2 1/2 weeks probably would have been enough for me. I had surgery on a Thursday so the full 2 weeks and then going back the next Monday. I had an extended TT with hip and thigh lipo btw.

i have been wondering the same thing so thank you for the response.  I took 1 week off for RNY so 2 weeks does not seem horrible

Congrats, my insurance will cover my panni as well but i can't find a doc in tenn that will take insurance

Thanks for asking this.  I have a TT scheduled and am planning on 3-1/2 weeks off work.  I am hoping it will be enough time.  I took two weeks off for my lower facelift and wished I'd taken another week. 

How did you get it approved? How long after weight loss surgery before getting a panni done? I am 8 1/2 months post op and lost 102 pounds recently not only the smelly under skin but open sores are appearing as well as itching
