Could my tummy have been "pulled tighter"??

Im not sure how much a revision will cost, but I can say, it better not cost me a damn dime. Im already WELL over $20K for this procedure out of pocket, and as far as Im concerned, Ive already PAID for it, a few times over. The surgeon has admitted "it could be better". Unfortunately, at this point, I have to wait to do anything. Im still not healed from my surgery in April, as Ive been dealing with nonstop complications. I still have an open wound Im dealing with :( I dont have any pics uploaded here of my before/after. Im about 2.5 months out and past most of the swelling (unless I overdo it) and Im sorry to say, what I thought was just loose at about 3 weeks out, became MUCH worse as the swelling went down and things settled and stretched back out. Now, it almost looks like I didnt even have ANYTHING done, and Im back in ALL the same clothes I wore preop.
As for whether or not you need a revision- if you arent happy with your results, didnt get what you paid for, and can realistically expect a better result, then you qualify for a revision, IMO. There does need to be *some* laxity to the skin to keep you from literally pulling apart, but if there is serious looseness and sagging, hanging, rolls, etc (especially when standing) then it can be tighter.
Immediately post op (like first week) my stomach was pretty tight. BUT when swell hell set in (and last a good couple months) I was quite "fluffy" around the middle and had rolls again. But when im not dealing with swelling/bloating, my stomach is okay.

I'm in the same boat as ACBBrown. Before swell hell set in, I was pretty tight. Now with the swelling, I can see a roll forming when I sit. It totally messes with my head but I am trying to be optimistic that it will go away when the swelling resides. Even if it doesn't though, I am still very happy with the results. Light years different than what I was pre-surgery.
I had, 10lbs of skin removed and 3lbs with lipo (I also had inner thigh lipo at the same time as my LBL) My thighs are still a saggy but they look better under clothes, which was the goal. My doc wouldn't do the inner thigh lift at the same time as the LBL. I'm not sure if I'll go back for that, but I will be going back for a breast lift and arms.
All in all, I am very pleased with my results and I have been very lucky to have minimal complications. The compression garment is not the most comfortable thing I've ever worn, but the swelling hurts even more, so I have made peace with the garment. And got one that went down to mid-calf rather than above my knee, which helps a lot since the above the knee one was cutting into my thighs when they swelled.
Good luck to you!
I am over 5 weeks out, and not sure if I am tight enough. I had quite a large seroma, not sure if that altered my results permanently or just for now. Time will tell. I have a roll when I sit, that I did not have immediately post op. Also a roll of loose skin on upper abs now, not sure when that developed. From what I have read, our tissues do loosen up with time and weight loss patients also more than others.
You are very brave, pposter. I have had only a few complications, but makes me scared if a revision for me, is worth it. This has taken too long, as it is, and so disrupting to my life.
My guess though is if you didnt feel tight in beginning, you will not get tighter. I know at first, I felt and looked very tight, and was happy with my tummy.
