Could my tummy have been "pulled tighter"??

I'm almost three weeks out from my LBL. I know it's way too early to tell the final results. And don't get me wrong, my stomach looks a million times better than it did. However, sometimes when I look at it I feel my surgeon could have pulled my skin a little tighter. Did anyone else have this feeling at first? I know the results will change as I heal, but I can't imagine it tightening up. Am I being unrealistic? Please share your opinions or similar experiences.

My stomach was super tight from day one. I never felt like it should have been pulled tighter.

Eek I was afraid of that. But thanks for your honesty!

I just sent you a PM to view my pics, if you'd like to see where someone else was at the same point.

Thank you!! Your stomach looks amazing, and much tighter than mine!! I envy your serious lack of stretch marks!

Thanks. I basically had an 8-inch wide strip of skin removed. Any stretch marks I had were removed in that strip, thank goodness. My thighs, however, are a different story...blah.

Laura, did you get liposuction as well?

I did not get any lipo. If I ever get my thighs done, I think I will need it there.

Yes, I have felt that way since about week 2 out from my LBL.  And yep, I will be having a revision.  I still have a good 6-8" of skin that is loose and flappy around my midsection.  It hangs when I bend over, I have several rolls when I sit, and even some overhang when I am standing.  I am VERY angry about it....  It looks like **** and its definitely NOT what I paid $17,000+ for, plus months of complications, horrible pain & recovery, thousands of $ in complications and losing my job..

Wow! I'm so sorry to hear all of that! What did your surgeon say about that? How much will a revision cost? Do you have any before and after pictures you'd be willing to share? I want to see if I'm in the same boat of needing a revision ...
