Upper and lower abdominal pain at 3-mos post op - normal or cause for concern?

I am 3-mos out from my tummy tuck and mons lift and have been having pains that are concerning. For those who have been through it, does any of the following sound normal or cause for concern? Thanks so much for your help!

My upper abdo hurts since week 4, so much so that I cannot go without the binder wrapped really tightly for support. It is really painful if I go without it and I'll get light-headed and headaches. Recently at trader Joe's I thought I might faint. The area above naval feels really strange, like I can feel a tendon in there, and the areas above and to the sides of my naval hurt.   I can not sleep on my sides, as I will wake with pain in either hip... like a burning sensation. Plus above my left buttock I get a very painful pinching sensation during sleep, sometimes it goes across side to buttock. It has woken me from a sound sleep three times recently. It is painful to turn over and move in bed, I moan in my sleep, and there is a burning in the front thighs when I get up in the morning.   Thanks again!

Did you have lipo in your hips and thighs? I know that can cause the burning sensation and can last for a while. I feel it when I've been sitting for awhile and then stand up.

Hmmm, I think he did a tiny bit of lipo on my love handles on my back... that is in the general area of my hips... Thanks for the info.

Actually, it looks like he may have done some lipo on my hips. I have one dark dot on each.

My lipo spots just look like tiny slits right now, one on each thigh and one over each side right above my butt. I'm guessing he did the front side of my hips while I was open.

Sounds normal to me.
Your abdomen is the core of your body and as such the PS pulls and tightens all these muscles very taut and every movement we make hurts.
Hip bones-remember when you first saw/felt your collar bone?
I remember being in hospital on wound vac a few weeks after my tummy tuck and after my shower the nurse was re-sponging me as she was reconnecting me to the wound vac and I kvetched about a bump protruding. My pelvic bone!
Write/call in your concerns to your PS asking how long these pains might last or of there is any concern in the matter.

Thanks, Mikimi. I was not expecting the pain to worsen - most of these pains are new in the past few weeks. I am going to see my PS for my 3 mos follow-up in about 2 weeks.

Maybe healing is not necessarily a linear line. Yesterday I swelled so bad, gained 2" in my waist. I still feel like crud. I have not swelled like this in weeks.

Write in to your PS with your description of pains just to be on the safe side.
Do not wait two more weeks until your apptmt.
Pains come and go.
I was told for Breast Lift/Teduction pain could last off and on for a year as well sensitivity in nipples.
My left thigh was numb and sometimes still is almost two years out from tummy tuck.

Im just a week or two behind you out from a LBL.  I too have been experiencing more pain lately.  I *think* its because the nerve endings are finally reconnecting and now that we are mostly healed, we are more active and therefore testing our new bodies.  I also swell at the end of the day, some days worse than others, but every night has me asking my hubby to "wrap me" in my binder and slipping back into my compression garment.   I have been woken from sleep when I move the wrong way, or stretch in my sleep with a searing pain in my abdomen.  I wake with a lot of stiffness and soreness in my abdomen.  I have actually been wondering if I may have a hernia, as I have pain around my belly button and in my lower abdomen- that is constant and feels like a pinching/pulling/pulled muscle.  Ive asked my PS about it, and he doesnt seem to think anything of it, so who knows.  Maybe its normal?  Im curious to hear what yours thinks!
