Hi!

I am scheduled for an anchor cut TT July 24th and wanted to know what you wore that was comfy after surgery at home. I was thinking that yoga pans would put pressure on my incision. Maybe sundresses??

Thank you!

I wore a button up loose fitting top and yoga pants.

I bought 3 sundresses to go out in public in. At home I pretty much wore nightgowns.  Avoided pants mostly because they were tough to pull down in time when I had to pee.

I had a catheter for 5 days, so I didn't have to worry about that...lol

I wore sundresses or yoga pants-the pants were tricky while I still had drains, but luckily mine we out before 2 weeks.

I bought a couple of loose fitting cropped cargo pants with a full elastic waist and a few baggy cotton shirts. I just went to a cheap store to get them. I will donate them to Good Will.

Cotton sundresses while my drains were in. Now I'm pretty much living in leggings and t-shirts because I've been lazy.

Compression garment and nightgowns is what I lived in for the first 6 weeks or so.  Now, I do mostly yoga pants and tank tops

I'm one week post op and while I was in the hospital and while Im in the hotel room with just me and my Mom I stay naked except for the strip of cloth around me to pin my drains to. When I go out I wear yoga work out pants so I can tuck the drain bulbs into them and then any kind of shirts. If you must wear clothes at home I would think a dress, long tee shirt would be the best.

I still had a few of my fat clothes - so I wore them when I went out - made hiding the drains easy.  As far as at home, I wore nightgowns - made using the bathroom easy.  At about 3 weeks out, I was back at work - drains removed - swelling wasn't too bad so I was able to just wear regular clothes with my compression garment underneath.
