Is French bikini wax OK 2.5-mos out?

I am dying to get a French bikini wax (aka landing strip) and wondering if it will hurt my incision. I had TT and mons lift on April 18, and my incision is partly in my hair line. I have been shaving but would like a wax. I am just not sure of the wax being sanitary enough as well as those cloth strips pulling on my scar to be too forceful.

Any thoughts? As far as I know the flesh if fully healed at 8-weeks.

I did some research on other boards and it seems to be A-OK to get the wax. I just could not bring myself to ask my (male) surgeon.

No idea, I have shaved mine completely since I reached goal.  What is the point of leaving any hair?  I don't understand it.  It's like womyn that shave everywhere yet have hairy arms.  Arm hair on womyn skeeves me out worse then leg hair or pit hair.  I don't get it.

Ick, I don't want to look like a little girl...

I am going for the wax Tuesday   I'll bet she's gonna freak when she sees my scar. I think I will tip extra.

Quite honestly I am 48 and nothing about me looks like a little girl.  I have no desire to see white hairs there, that would really freak me out.  I pay a fortune to keep my hair highlighted blond the last thing I need is to be reminded that there is no truth in advertising.

I tried waxing once, the regrowth you could see but had not broken through the skin, and there was nothing you could do about it.  Good luck with that.

I am 49 and just have noticed a few of those white hairs down there. I did not like it. Not one bit. I wondered if I could use black mascara to touch it up for now, since there are only a few.

am feeling your vibe. I may have to go bald, too. Grey pubic hair just won't work for me.

I have not had a French bikini wax before but have had bikini waxes, legs, etc. I have not had a problem with the regrowth you describe... Hopefully it will work out for my cute little mons, hahaha. I love saying that.

Tell us how it turns out.  I could never do it, but am curious to hear.  I see them wax eyebrows at my nail salon and have considered it, until one day my nails were drying and this girl came in to meet her friend who got her brows done, the girl was near tears, I guess they really messed one brow up.  I heard her friend say, don't cry it will grow back.  I think I will stick to plucking. lol

I went to a new place and it was the most painless wax I have ever had. I had my face done, too, my entire face. It is good for exfoliation. She is an esthetic in a spa and uses this expensive wax from France . I went to her home to have it done because it was much cheaper than the spa. She converted her garage into a tiny salon - it was really nice. She only charged me $19 for the French bikini and $15 for the face.

I think the wax that she used ally made the difference
