Your experience with medial thigh lift

Inner thigh lift is a high priority on my list. I don't know what I dislike more, my gross inner thighs or my St Bernard face. I was doing this weird twisty leg shake thing with my inner thighs the other day in the mirror (yes, too much time on my hands). Ugh, I wish I could laugh. The fat had a life all its own. I wi**** would pack its bags and leave.

Anyway, I was surprised to see how "not that great" medial thigh lifts come out. And I was freaked to read how complex they are to do (http://www.realself.com/question/scars-medial-thigh-lift).

So... calling all of you who have had medial thigh lifts, I am looking for any and all advice. Did you like your outcome? Did you have scar migration or any other complications? Did you have to undergo scar revision surgery? How painful was it? How much swelling -- I have no clue how I will keep my legs together if my thighs swell worse than they are fat now? How long did it take before you could see the results? What the heck did you wear when you legs swelled really bad? Did you have the medil thigh lift combined with any other surgery? Was it worth it? Anything else?

Thanks a bunch.

LOL!!  "You put your thigh fat, you put your thigh fat out.  You put your thigh fat in and you shake it all about.  You do the hooky poky and you turn yourself around.  That's what it's all about" :)

Not making fun.  Did that same move this morning myself...ugh, go away thigh fat, go away:)

Ha! I can do it to a lesser extreme with my arms. Wish my bat wings would fly away!

I can almost guarantee my arms are worse than yours...seriously.  We should have a "fat" off to compare our thighs and arms.  I guess we'll have some candid pictures soon enough to share:)

Hilarious, we are debating whose body is worse! I cannot wait to see my before and after. Although I still feel a bit awkward getting those shots done, hahaha. I really want to see a retrospective at the end of all my surgeries (hopefully I get them all done) and see the metamorphosis of my transformation. I'd like to make it into a short video or animated slide show -- like women do to chronical their pregnancy.

Hehe, you're funny!!!  WE are debating what's worse about us...sick, sick people indeed:)  A retrospective would be amazing.  I do love a good before and after story...weight loss, house remodels, an ugly ducking, you name it.

You just have me the seed of an idea... We bought this grand old house that needs work. My husband is renovating it at the same time as I am renovating myself. There is a story to be told here...

I'll betcha mine are worse than yours, LOL!

We should create YouTube videos put to music. It will be the next "gangnam style."

Hated my thigh lift, and recently had it revised.

It's important to have realistic expectations, but also know that complications, and need for revisions are common with plastics.

One of the most important factors, is to get a surgeon that is very experienced with post weight loss patients, as our skin is trashed and it's very different the plastics on normal skin.
