MESSA BC/BS Hernia Repair/Tummy Tuck/Panni Coverage?

Hi Lori,

i am 5 weeks post op TT including panni removal.  Dr. Livingston did it.  I have BCBS and said they would only cover the panni removal if I could prove 100lb weight loss, an apron that covers the pubic region and a history of rashes in the region.  I have to meet all three to have them cover it.  TT is considered cosmetic and wouldn't cover it.  

Hey Betsy!  How are you?  Did they end up covering the panni removal?  Dr. K wrote a note stating that I'd had rashes and infections in my umbilicus.  He said the hernia repair should take care of the upper skin, but we also submitted for muscle tightening.  How are you doing?
