When did you get your drains out? I had my LBL a week ago (6/18) and have 4 drains coming out of my mons. Tonight I recorded them each draining 17, 12, 9 and 10 in the last 24 hours. I'm praying they all come out at my post op apt on Thursday, but wanted to get some others' experiences about when theirs were removed.

When did you get your drains out??

I had an extended TT with 2 out of my mons. They came out at my 1 week post op appointment. One was draining under 5 and the other was around 10. He wanted them under 30 in 24 hours so I hit that goal no problem.

Most surgeon consensus is when output less than 30 from my research. Make sure you dont have clotting because that gives lower numbers prematurely. I had TT and one drain, but it had to be "milked" to get rid of clotting. I had my drain out on the 14th day, and was producing less than 40, but as much as the drain is nice to get out, now I worry about seroma. Hang in there, if yours are that low of numbers, they will take out, and your body should be able to absorb easily.
