The sex question lol

That is so nice!

When my husband married me I was 19yo and very pretty and thin. I grew obese over time and was not pretty anymore. He still loved me for me. Of course he loved when I took the weight off (the bariatric surgery). As far as the plastics, he loves my body the way it was... rolly belly and saggy mons... I find it very touching.

Hold a pillow to your tummy - that will give it the support you need.

Ok, so in the interest of research, I took one for the team and the hubs and I did the deed last night.  :-)  We were careful and a little hesitant, no swinging from the chandeliers yet but all in all a success!

Plus it felt really nice to be close to him again.  He's been great at being my caretaker as I recover, but it was nice to put that aside for a while and just enjoy each other.

Yay!  :-)

So what is the reason for no sex? Is it because pressure put on the sutures? Not all sex requires someone being on top of you or even pressing bodies together. Is it to stay away from the ab muscles tightening during ******

My PS didn't say. But I think after any major surgery it's best not to do anything too physical until your body has had some time to heal.

Dr. C told me that he did not want me straining my abdominal muscles... I did try a few weeks out an it was the area of plication that was sore afterwards.

Just read this and had to share...

in The Tao of Love and Sex, author Jolan Chang offers us the “indications of female arousal,” as laid out by Taoist master Wu Hsien:

“Her hands are hot and her abdomen warm, and at the same time her language becomes almost unintelligible. Her expression looks as though she is bewitched, her body is soft as jelly and her limbs are droopy. The saliva under her tongue has been sucked dry.”

Hmmm... I don't think the saliva under my tongue had been sucked dry, so maybe that is why my abdominal muscles didn't hurt afterwards.

My surgeon never mentioned anything about sex but I'm afraid of the muscles during ****** It's starting to hurt less when I sneeze so I don't think it'll be bad now.

So today I had my 1 week follow up and I asked the "How long till sex?" question. I was told 4-6 weeks. Then I asked the reasoning for waiting so long. Was it the incisions? The ****** hurting muscles? He said that most ppl engage their abs during sex. If you can have sex w/o engaging them then that would be okay but most ppl can't. SO I'm thinking there are lots of other things you can do to get off that doesn't engage your tummy muscles. Might even make things more interesting to come up with things to do w/o intercourse. Just thought I'd share :)
