Had thigh lift with large volume lipo last Tuesday Feel like my garment is to tight. I have a burning sensation. I go to dr on wedsday wonder if I should wait and just deal with it. Drains have slowed way down. I have not used pain meds for sence Thursday. I also feel like I might pass out when I tried to shower when I had garments off This is way harder then LBL

From what I've read the lipo causes a burning sensation. I've been feeling it too in my thighs.

Ditto on the burning in my thighs too.  Also, I am wearing a binder (LBL on June 5) and for the first 10 days or so, my blood pressure was really low (at one point in the hospital it was 70/40.  My doc said it was due to fluid volume loss from the surgery and lipo) and was prone to dizziness and passing out when I took it off.  I passed out completely once (at my doc's office during my first follow up)  came VERY close one more time  (after taking a shower, I was still sitting on the shower chair and my hubby was with me thankfully) and was dizzy/feeling like I might go dark about 3-4 more times.

My doc had me take double iron to help build up more blood volume.  That and time healing has seemed to help.  I can take my binder off now w/o getting lightheaded.

Good luck to you!

That must be what's happening to me with the shower. The thigh lift has been the hardest. I wanted to do my arms but this is really making me think twice maybe three times. With the thigh lift with large volume lipo. 2.5 lts off each thigh how long before you were really up and about. Leggs are so stiff feel like I have been riding a horse. Did you use the scare strips and were they worth it.

I only had the lipo (and extended tt and back/hip lipo) and I've been walking around since the day after surgery. I'm back to a mostly normal routine now less than 2 weeks out. My lipo incisions are almost completely gone with no scars, and I still have all my steri strips on my tt incision so scar strips aren't even on my radar yet. My surgeon said he'll tell me what to use when it gets closer to being allowed something.
