12.5 inches gone from TT @8 weeks post op

I just had to share my delight!!! I took my measurements today and I've lost 6 inches off my waist, 4 inches off my lower ab, and 2.5 inches off my hips (most likely my mons pubis is my guess). And the journey is not over - I was told that 75% of my swelling would be gone at 12 weeks post op so I guess I will get a little smaller.

So f*cking glad that I finally did this surgery! Now I want more!

thanks for sharing this. I'm just one week post tummy tuck and I'm so swollen that I can't really see my results so this gives me hope that I will I have a flat tummy and mons eventually.

I was freaking out about my swelling from 1-week post op to about 6-weeks post op. You can see my posts on this board!!! IMy surgeon even sent me to the ER one night!

Everyone was right, I did get flat! 

Patience. Your time, too, will come!!! And it is fabulous!!!

Yay!!!  Wow, that is amazing.  You must be beyond thrilled.  I'm at 12 days out and I'm practically bi-polar about it.  Some days I feel like I can't see the results, some days I'm all "I'M TINY!!!" 

Trying to be patient is difficult, this helps me keep the faith.  Thank you!!

 

I can so relate. I kept thinking something was wrong with me from the surgery. As for my results, they are much more than I had expected. I really don't know what I expected or hoped for. I just know that I am beyond thrilled! 

I don't know if you've seen my story but I wrote all about my experience with the tummy tuck here. I will update it again when I have my 3-mos post op.

yep I read your story today. its very encouraging and helpful. thank you! I read a couple Parts a few weeks ago too. the before and after photo gallery on my surgeon's website has three ladies who's before pictures are similar to my body type and their results are really beautiful so I'm hoping that mine will be as beautiful.
