Normal drainage post panniculectomy?

Can anyone tell me if it's normal to be draining mostly blood 6 days post op panniculectomy?  I have 2 jp drains in, draining less than 30cc a day and drains scheduled to be taken out thursday.  I was under the impression the fluid should be light pink or orange-y?  Any insight into this would be great.  Thank you.

Normal is subjective to interpretation each person will have something different the amount will vary day by day as well as color.. They consistently told me this the three weeks I had a drain in. I wanted it out but it was for my own good and I have less swelling now because of it..

I drained mostly dark red for about two weeks before it became tea colored.  I had one drain for a week and another one for 3 weeks.

I had 4 drains (lower body lift) and each one put out fluid that was a different color, including one that was dark red for all three weeks it was in.  Wasn't bothering my doc, so it wasn't bothering me!

Mine was a watery blood color the entire time I had them. They never drained clear and the tiny bit of drainage I have at 6 weeks in the incision line is still not clear, more of a light yellow, but no infection. Jus****ch for signs of infection such as smell and pain, and try not to worry, stress is not good for healing. Just be vigilant to follow dr's orders and you might take zinc and vitamin c to promote healing.
