I read all of ur blog b4 but I M a numbers Gurl lol and I don't remember yours. I think u answered my post about 190+ tummy tucks and I think u said u were one. I did schedule my tummy tuck for December so that I can try to lose back down to 180 but will be glad if I can do it at 185 and lose 5-15 pounds post op tummy tuck. Thanks for sharing ur results. Hi Shanelle, they removed 6lbs of fat/skin with my TT. I have lost an additional 5lbs. I also went down a pants size. My lower abdomen is where the majority of my swelling is and at this point only 1/2 inch smaller than pre op. But it does not look anything like it did pre op. Pre op my tummy and mons were nasty, all fleshy and misshapen. Now even though they are swollen, they look so much better than before surgery. Also I am told that my tummy will be as flat as it was immediately after surgery and so that number will drop. I am looking forward to it!!!

Congrats on scheduling your surgery! Good luck!

YES!!! I have been shaped like a tree trunk for so long and I am super excited to have a waist again. Funny, I always had an hour glass shape even when I was obese, and then that changed for some reason... hormones? Anyway, it's good to have it back. Now all my shirts are too big in the waist!

You guys are making me excited again. I have a LBL in ONE week! I'm scared but excited. I can't wrap my head around how my body might look. Is that normal? Did you all feel that way before? I mean, five inches on the waist? I cannot begin to imagine what that would be like. Right now I'm only thinking of getting rid of the hanging skin. That's great news to hear, MyBariatricLife!
