6 weeks post Tummy Tuck - I've lost 5" from my waist!
I must say that I am surprised by it... I did not get an anchor cut so I did not know how small my waist would get... I guess that I was more focused on my lower ab and mons, which were hideous. I had my surgery one week after my pre op appointment, so I did not have time to think about how I might look, LOL!
Good luck on your LBL. I am excited for you!!!!!
Once my tt was healed I started wearing thick tight belts with my clothes, granted my surgery was in the fall so the thick leather belts in winter looked stylish. But I attribute that to my hourglass figure. I was straight up and down in the beginning. Now I have a much smaller waist. Corset training does work, this was the same concept. Just an idea if you are looking for curves.
Thank you for posting this, Heidi. My surgeon does not use compression garments but because I hurt my upper abdomen I have been wearing my binder around it very tightly. I wondered if it was this that made my waist small. My surgeon said he did not think so. I have been debating buying a binder to wrap around my lower abdomen to see if it would compress the swelling there. Because of your post, I am going to do just that! Thanks a bunch!!
I honestly believe it made the difference for my waist and I couldn't stand anything but really thick belts, even now I can't wear a thin belt. Not sure why. Having a tt will be life altering, wait until you see how strange an itch is but the scratch is somewhere else. I still have no feeling in my incision line at all.
Good Luck!
Congratulations!! That's awesome... I'm so happy for you!! ((HUGS)) ENJOY!!!
