LBL or TT patients...

Do you still have rolls and loose skin on your belly?  Is it situational (if you are sitting, leaning over, etc)?  Did you have a LBL, TT, extended TT- and did you have an anchor cut or not?

Thanks.

Perfectly flat when I stand up. a little bit of a roll when I sit down. I had a LBL 2 years ago.

How is your recovery going??? Any better???

Flat if standing. I wouldn't call it rolls, but there's some excess skin when I sit. Normal. You need enough laxity in your skin to move around.

Hope your recovery is improving. Hard though it is, give yourself some time to heal and see the final result. I'm about five months out from a LBL, and things are still adjusting for the better. For example, I thought my belly button was a touch too high, but it's dropped right into perfect position. It's a long, sometimes frustrating process.

This is what I heard, too. If it's perfectly tight when sitting, it would be impossible to stand up straight. Laxity is a good way to put it.

Flat when standing, slight "poof" from navel up to boobs.....the upper stomach.  My doctor told me that to get mine "perfect" I should have the anchor cut, but I didn't want the scar, so I chose not to do that-for me, it was the right decision as I'm completely satisfied with how I look, 'nekkid' and in clothes!

That is a good way to describe it, Kim. I have a slight poof above my naval and up to my boobs when I sit. It is not like the big jelly roll that I had prior to my TT. I am 5 weeks out and have lost 5 inches on my waist. My lower abdomen is where the majority of my swelling is so that is not flat even when I stand at this time. My upper abdomen is flat when I stand. I did not have the anchor cut because I did not want the large scar. I am very happy with that decision. My surgeon did not recommend the anchor cut, either. He gets very good results without it.

I had the anchor cut and I still have a "poof" when I sit.  I think it would be impossible not to and be able to stand straight.  My doctor told me if we did a breast lift that he could remove more from the upper abdomen but for now, I am very happy with my results.

I had LBL and I am totally flat when standing but a little rippled when sitting, bending...but love the way I look now compared to before.

Circumferential anchor cut, I look fantastic when standing but have a roll on my right and left side when sitting. It 's as tight as I am going to get due to an old school gallbladder scar. Some of it may tighten when I get a breast lift but it's a beautiful sight compared to my before.
