Pre-op appointment
I had my pre-op yesterday and things went smoothly, surgery is june 6. My surgeon did decide that an anchor cut would work better after originally recommending just the horizontal cut. I have until the morning of my surgery to make my decision but I'm definitely leaning toward the anchor, I think I'll be a lot happier with the results. He also said he may not use drains, which would be great. I'll also be having upper inner thigh and hip lipo. I'm hoping the skin on my thighs will bounce back after the lipo since the rest of my legs have good tone and i just have fat deposits there. I'm so ready for my newly shaped body, just not looking forward to the pain!
Good luck!! You will be so happy with the skin GONE!! I thought I needed the anchor cut, too, but my surgeon gave me the results I wanted without it.

My rny scar is already pretty large vertically on my stomach so I don't see it being much different and this will get rid of the one I already have. The difference in the way he was able to pull my skin was huge, so I think the scar will be worth it for me. He said he could get me to about 80% with the horizontal scar as the anchor would get me, and for the money I want it to be the best it can be
