ReFit vs. actual plastics...am I crazy to be second guessing my decision!?

I am scheduled for a LBL in late June. I was telling a friend about it who had a tummy tuck years back, and she basically said she wouldn't recommend it because of the painful recovery.

Instead she recommended Viora ReFit. I do not believe she has any experience with this procedure. Does anyone know anything about it?

I was so set on my LBL, but the results here look phenomenal. I'm hesitant to buy into things like this, especially because sometimes the before pics aren't as bad as our skin is...but these look pretty enticing.

Anyone heard of this? Have any experience with it or know someone who has? I would like to hear from those who have had actual plastics as well. Am I crazy to be second guessing my LBL? Please give me your honest opinion!

I am a Plastic Surgeon specializing in post bariatric body contouring. I have not heard of this, but looked it up as you tweaked my interest.
It is another of many devices developed to try to shrink the skin using heat. Have used some myself. They certainly have some effect, but are best used in patients *****quire minimal changes. The results you see in the pictures are excellent but cannot come anywhere close to what your LBL will do for you. I'm sorry your friend had so much pain from her tummy tuck, but she probably also did not get the result she wanted. Going through the pain is typically worth the results you obtain.
