For 190+ pound tummy tuckers
Go for it! I also had hernia repair along with my tt which is most part why i had it done. I love my results!
I was 203 lb when i had TT in September 2010. I saw 3 PS, two of them refuse to touch me before I will loose 20 more lb, they were afraid of healing and infection. Third one did not say anything about my weight and did anchor cut TT.
I did not have any issue with heling, only I had alot of drainage for long time, he told me that can be becuse of my weight, but I am not sure.
I got large seroma and it was surgically removed with additional skin removal 1 year later, no other issues.
I had BR in JAnuary 2012, no issues and I had just arm lift in April 11.
I have both armpits opennings which are very annoimng and hard to close.
My weight now is 172 lb.
It looks like I lost 30 lb with all my plastics.
My legs are mess, but I decided no more plastics for me, too much pain and discomfort.
Just be ready for some pain but finall results are all worthed it.
Cood luck.

Yes, Dr C did my arm lift, April 11, one week before your TT.
Recovery from this procedure was very painful to my suprise. I got openings in 2 armpits.
they are very annoying to deal with and takes long time to close.
My advice to you to avoid them: keep arms wrap in ACE bandages for at least 2 weeks and insert maxi pad under each armpit.
it will prevent it from moisture and protect incisions. And prevent them from openings.
Please make sure you have your pain med handy.
i am 6 weeks in 2 days and just started to love my arms.
Good luck.

Scott told me that it may open during 2 weeks period after surgery.
If they will not open 2 weeks after, they will not open.Mine opened exactly 1 week after surgery.
the main reason it happens too much movement and moisture under arms.
This is why I recommend keep your arms wrapped and put maxi pad under for 2 weeks.
Be careful with your arms, you defiantly do not want this issue, very annoying.
I do not have fever, no infection.
Scott told me to keep it dry with gauze.
I am going to see Dr capella on Thursday to make sure they are healing. Just takes very long time.

Hi, my highest weight was 405. I started my plastics at 203 with an anchor cut circumferential body lift and brachioplasty. No pain what so ever with the only complication being a hole that opened up and needed packed on the incision line on my back. Surgery 2 was revisions to my circumferential due to an old school gallbladder scar that had to be worked around on surgery 1 and revisions to my arms due to there being still just to much skin AND I had a thighplasty. Again, no pain. Complications are seromas on the right leg and I developed a staph infection on the left. Staph infection opened up and packed(perfectly healed now) and seromas will be dealt with on surgery 3. My thigh scars are beautiful thin lines. Surgery 3 is in 6 weeks and it's going to deal with the seromas AND a breast lift without implants+ lipo on my upper arms. I had REALLY big arms.
My surgeon is great and my revisions have been free, I opted to not get implants even though I have been told that I might wake up with an A cup. I'm hoping to wake up to a B cup because A's might look a little funny on a 195 pound 5'10 gal but I also think that perfect breasts on an imperfect body would as well. I went into surgery wearing a size 20 and comfortable fit in my dream size, 14.
My surgeon never said a word about my weight but I do know that I'm not going to drop any major weight because I would not want it to mess up my results. Total skin weight has been 22 pounds but you will see that that does not always reflect on the scale because skin is loaded with fluids that the body will replenish.
Of course there are lots of areas that I could obsess over but truth is we will never erase the fact that we were obese and going into plastics with the attitude of perfection verses fixing will only hold us back. At some point we just have to move on. I have an nice flat tummy and nothing jiggles. Feel free to ask me anything that comes to mind.

Wow, no pain whatsoever?!?! I was shocked at how much pain there was with my TT. You are lucky!
Yeah, no pain and i weaned myself off of the heavy duty pain killers after 2 weeks. Even with my complications I have had a good recovery. Only 5-6 weeks until my breast lift and this should be interesting as I have opted to NOT get implants and my surgeon has given me a good heads up that I may wake up to an A cup!!!! I'm hoping for a B but we'll just have to wait and see.
