Wow thats terrible, I have more stretch marks then anyone on earth so I can't imagine more and I did lose some with my tt.  You should check with your doctor because maybe it is some sort of reaction or rash and not permanent.  I hope it isn't.  Sorry to hear.

Oh no!! I agree with Heidi. Talk to your doctor. I have not heard that before (of course that does not mean it hasn't happened, but I don't recall anyone posting about it here).

Well, when I woke up in so much pain and swelling so severe that it caused instant stretch marks - and I do mean a lot of them - I did call my surgeon. He and I had been discussing that I might have a seroma. So my fear was that I was filling up fast, you know like the girl Violet in Willy Wonka and the Vhocoalte Factory who swells up to a round balloon when she chews the special gum and they have to drain her. LOL. Well maybe not quite that bad.

Anyway the idea of so many sretch marks just occurring immediately, well I got concerned. S, I called my surgeon at 2:30 in the morning and he told me to go to the ER. There, he told them to do a CAT scan on me. Everything turned out to be normal, and it is just normal swelling rather than a seroma. He said that as far as stretch marks that they do happen sometimes. He said they should lighten somewhat over time. I expressed to him that I am very upset about them and he told me that most people who get them aren't really that bothered by them when all is said and done.

Right now I am still very disappointed. I know thwt you all can relate to the sheer joy of having a cute flat tummy. My new tummy and mons look like it belonged on a young person. Now it does not. Of course it is still better than what I had before surgery.

Wow I feel really bad for you, that is as bad as me getting my turkey neck fixed and the doctor warned me because I have a long neck it could relax and there I am sitting at a local casino with my boyfriend looking into the tiny silver trim of the slot machine and I can see with the lighting my turkey neck returning.  I wanted to cry.  Had it revised and it is back again when I don't hold my head just right.  **** stretch marks and turkey neck's should be banished all together.  I am so sorry this happened to you, it really sucks they are there now.  I can only imagine how I would feel if I finally got rid of all mine and then they came back.  Ick.

Thank you, Heidi. And I am sorry about your turkey neck. I have loose skin and fat under my chin that I'd like to get rid of.

I'm scheduled for a TT on June 10th and I have been wondering if the tightening of the skin when they do a TT could cause new stretch marks.  It is possible so does anyone out there know of a good lotion or something that I can start using now to try to prepare my skin and hopefully prevent new stretch marks?  Thanks.
