I don't see a problem with that. People scratch their bellies, take pictures of the "rash" and use welfare to play for plastics so why don't you deserve to feel good about yourself? At least you plan to pay it back. i used credit cards for mine and my kids didnt get braces - people called me selfish for that. Don't feel guilty and do something for yourself!

I probably would have done it while i was in law school....since, hell, i'll be paying these damn loans off forever anyways. I have a house payment every month and no house! I wish I could have gotten boobs out of it :-p

It is fraud and possibly illegal to use Student Loans to pay for anything other than school-related costs.

I would triple check the paper work associated with the loan before I spent a penny on anything that could be 100% verified as a school loan.

 

I would not even consider it.

Get your schooling in first.  Then find a "sugar daddy", Partner in the law firm perhaps, and let him pay for your plastics!
