TT or LBL and then more loss?

Those that have had a TT or LBL...  If you went on to lose any more weight, did it significantly affect your results?  Im not talking large amounts, but like 5-15lb losses after your plastics.  I ask because my surgeon mentioned that he could do an anchor cut on me for my LBL to get things "really tight" but that I "didnt really need it" and without it that I "would just be a bit looser up top".  That concerns me, because Im working on losing about 10lbs right now after an injury that laid me up for about 5 months, and I dont want to have plastics if that 10lb loss is going to negate my results in any way, shape, form.

Opinions?  Experiences?

since i haven't had surgery yet i can't give you an actual answer, but the way that i'm looking at it is if i do lose another 20 lbs (which i doubt at this point), it will still look a lot better than it does now!

I have read a 10-15 pound gain or loss can make a difference, which was why I waited to make sure I was maintaining my weight. But I would think a small change in weight would not make a huge difference.

I had my surgery weighing 155ish and went on to lose down to 137 and had no impact on my tt, it is still nice and hard.  I did not have the anchor cut, and my doctor pulled me tight without it.  I mean nice and firm and tight even going on 7 years later my tummy is flat and nice.

I have had a TT and then later revised to the LBL with Anchor Cut.  IF you have the Anchor Cut and lose 10 to 15 lbs more, I would say that your result shouldn't change much.  If you lose more than that, it may loosen the skin a bit.  However, if your doctor thinks he can get your tighter with the Anchor Cut but you choose to have the TT - I believe that losing more would probably alter your result in a much more dramatic way.

I had the TT and lost 40 lbs more.  It made a huge difference.  I knew this going in when I had my initial TT done, but I had it done prematurely due to chronic back issues related to my excess skin.  I had lost close to 300 lbs.

I love my LBL with Anchor Cut.  Yes, the scar is much more apparent, however, my tummy is tight and I love the way my LBL pulled up my outter thighs a little.  I also had a full and extended thigh lift with massive Lipo at the same time.

Your situation sounds a lot like mine. If you don't really need it my opinion is to not do it. You'll look better in a bikini. I don't hink 10 pounds less will make a big difference but if you are concerned about it then get the 10 pounds off first.

When I asked my PS that question he said 10 pounds or less would not make any difference, 10-15 pounds was a gray area, and more than 15 pounds would show on my LBL.

Thank you all!   This is all very helpful.  I really dont have more than 10lbs I *could* lose (well, i guess I could, but Id be "skin and bone" according to everyone Ive talked to about it).  I just know that I am 10lbs heavier today than I was before my injury, and about 20lbs up from my lowest ever weight (which I agree was too small, Im 6' tall, very muscular, and should not be 150lbs.).  Im really just trying to gain back the muscle mass that atrophied during my injury, but I know I will lose some weight along with it.  I'd like to sit right around 155 (absolute lowest)-165 (max), and Im 170 today.  I think I will be OK.  If not, well, Ill be going back in for a BL/BA in about 3 months, and he can revise to an anchor cut then he said.
