Question about leaving the hospital
I had my whole body done at once, including a lbl with an anchor cut incision - i didnt have any problem laying in a hospital bed, a regular bed, or sitting up to go out to eat 3 days later. I don't think it's as bad as you are thinking - you'll be fine!

I usually keep my patients for 2 days, and by then the incisions have strengthened and the skin has relaxed enough to make it safe. I always advise caution, though, and ask my patients to be cautious getting down into a little car. Better to get UP into a bigger car with the seat reclined and some pillows ready !

I am 2.5 weeks out from my LBL and I am still super tight and walking a bit hunched, but I didn't have any trouble sitting in the wheelchair or the ride home. You pretty quickly find the just right position where ever you're sitting. Just make sure you get some good pain meds in your system before you leave. I think planning ahead to be well medicated makes a big difference.
