I am only 10 weeks out from VSG and losing is going great.. A little over 1/2 the weight is lost..
But I am curious as to how long after WLS is a good time for plastic surgery?..
TIA

Surgeons recommend that you're at a stable weight for 6-12 months before plastics.  Too much of a weight shift - up or down - and you don't get optimal results.

Thank you so much! That is exactly what I was wondering! Just couldn't put it on the correct words!

Yep, 6-12 months stable weight.  I had my first consult at about 14 months post WLS, and Im glad I waited to actually schedule until now (3 years post op) because things have settled and filled bck out and changed from the "melted" look I had.  Also, there are areas that are now a concern that werent then and vice versa.  Id start saving and looking into funding options now though, plastics are much more expensive than I EVER thought they would be...  By the time Im done, Ill be close to $40K  And Im only doing some "basics" (LBL, BL/BA, brachioplasty, maybe an inner thigh lift and fat injections/botox in my face).
