I resume sex at six weeks out from surgery.  I was told not to lift anything over 5 lbs. for about 8 weeks.  Only bend and reach up when you feel comfortable enough to do it.  I was back drving at 5 weeks.  My energy was really low for the first three weeks but week 4 I began to feel like myself again and my energy returned.  I did not go back to work for six weeks.  I never wore compression so someone else will need to let you know about that.  My healing was great with little or no swelling without compression.

I was told I could have sex whenever I felt up to it.  My limit for lifting was 10 pounds for 6 weeks.  I was also told that I couldn't drive until I was off the pain meds.  I went back to work in 7 weeks but I was still tired.  I wore my compression garment or spandex panty girdle for the first four weeks.  I hope this helps.

I had TT and BA on March 14 . . .
Sex: on paper it said wait six weeks but my dr said I would know how I felt.
Lifting . . . no idea.
I could bend and reach as I felt comfortable to.
Driving: once off pain meds.

I went back to work a week and 3 days after surgery. I was told to wear my binder 24/7 for the first 3 weeks and then for 8 hrs a day for the next 2 weeks.

On the journey to something new . . .
