Terrible, incredible, debilitating gas...
Right after my PS, I thought I was going to die of gas pains, but I was dealing with serious constipation, so I knew why (and gas x doesnt touch that pain).
One thing that helped the pain was a heating pad - I slept with it pretty much all night and it was the only thing that reduced the pain.
Can you see a doctor and get a rx gas relief - i know they make something stronger by rx.

It really depends on what is causing it. I still stuffer from horrible gas now every once in a while...but mine was related to or triggered by the surgery.

I know you might not want to hear this recommendation with all that you had done, but when I had the Lower Body Lift, full circumference I was told it was very important to walk at least 10 min. every 2 hrs. and to keep drinking the water . Due to the long duration of being under anesthesia and taking narcotic pain meds, your digestive system can get really screwed up. There are over the counter meds you can take to trigger a bowel movement and drugs for softening the stool (colex). I was taking Colex 2x/day so that I wouldn't have constipation. (My abdominal muscles would not have liked that) I have to say the walking around the house for 10 min every 2 hrs made all the difference. It helps the blood flow and awakens the digestive system. I did it all 24 hrs.
I hope you get well, and have successful flight home.

walking, staying hydrated with water snd protein drinks, taking Miralax in the morning with coffee, eating two prunes daily, and taking Benefiber in the evening. It also helps to eat fruit too. Pineapple helps with healing as does all kinds of protein. The feeling is miserable. Good luck!

As another DSer, BOY can I relate to the gas pains we can get. First thought I had? What are they feeding you? Protein shakes? Lots of carbs? Could be a sensitivity to something you arent used to. Could be too many carbs. New vitamins (even a different brand)? Your system is in hyperdrive right now and super sensitive. The only thing Ive found to help at ALL is laying down, legs propped up, with a heating pad.
