13 wks post-op Pics Belt Lipectomy & Medial Thigh Lift
I have lost a total of 95 pounds and I am very active but no matter what I did I could not get rid of the skin. I Had a Belt Lipectomy & medial thigh lift on December 14 and it went well except that some stitches on my back popped open and I dealt with a wound healing issue for about 6 weeks.
When my back just would not heal closed, my Dr. decided to take me back to the OR for a wound revision/ I & D on February 1st. He found that I basically had a bunch of dead space under my original surgical flap and that is why my back would not heal. He put in an antibiotic agent that would help it heal and special stitches and placed 3 more drains which I have had for 5 weeks. I just got my drains out on Tuesday so I guess I am 13 weeks out from my original procedure. I still have some swelling from the second surgery in my front & back but I think I am healing pretty well.I am happy with the results so far even with my set backs. Sorry the picture quality is not great. The first pictures are from my doctors office and I had to take a picture of photo.

Congratulations Jenny! You look great! We all heal at a different rate with different results but you look awesome so I know it was worth the extra drains to get it right.
