Eating after TT
No, it wasn't hard. I stuck with protein shakes and bars for the first few days. Just too tired to eat. Then went back to a very protein forward diet. I noticed that my restriction was tighter, I suspect from the fact that my muscles were tightened and squeezing across my midsection. But nothing nearly as severe as post-op from the WLS.
Your day will be here before you know it! I'm going to warn you, the first few weeks of recovery are rough. But the results are fantastic!

I had stocked my fridge and freezer with soups and easy to eat foods.
I did not want to be standing up to prepare meals --- so, generally I had a greek yogurt or Luna Bar for breakfast.
I had soup (they all had meat in them for added protein) and a few crackers for lunch and dinner.
I had my surgery on a Thursday (out-patient) and then a follow up appt at the surgeon's office on Friday.
I had the following week off from work -- and went back to my desk job the following Monday (so, 11days after surgery)
It was very do-able ---- but I work from home and could work in my sweats/baggy clothes.
I was not back to wearing my pre-op clothes for a few weeks.
Prepare to be tired by the end of the day, especially that first week ---- so, expect to go home and need to grab a quick, easy dinner so you can veg out.
Best of luck -- you are going to LOVE your flat belly!!!!!!
