I am using Dr. John Connolly with the Palo Alto Medical Foundation in Mountain View. He was referred to me by the surgeon who did my husbands nose (deviated septum) and gets good reviews. I have not had surgery yet but I am in the middle of the approval cycle right now with my insurance company. I am getting the anchor cut, I saw a few other surgeon none of them even brought that type up and when I asked about it they said they don't usually do it, he brought it up after examining me and asking if scaring was an issue to me. He is also a doctor not some Hollywood version but just a plain old doctor. Which was important to me. Good luck

You do want a PS that has worked with WL patients.  Our skin is definitely different to work on than a little mommy make over.  It's been stretched over and over again. You can check into Dr Rabkin in SF, he started doing PS because some of his patients for WLS asked him about it.  Dr Rabkin did my DS, but I went to Dr Sauceda in Monterrey Mexico for my PS.  I could get all the work done that I wanted, for the price of an LBL here.  Plus, Dr Sauceda mostly only works on WLS patients or those who have lost weight.  I wanted one surgery to get everything done and one recovery period... 

I'm going to Dr. Behmand in Walnut Creek, he does beautiful work!! I have surgery scheduled April 8th for LBL, BL, BA and Butt augmentation via fat transfer. If you want more info or to follow up and see how surgery turns out feel free to PM me.
