scheduled!

finally called and scheduled my extended tummy tuck with hip and inner thigh lipo for june 6! i know it'll be here before i know it but it seems so far away (had to wait that long since i graduate with my masters' on may 24th). 

my surgeon said i should be fine, but from those of you that have had the surgery, i should be okay for my sister's wedding on july 13 right? it's just over 5 weeks and from the poking around here i've done it seems most people are feeling better around week 3. i'm guessing i'll still probably have some swelling going on, but i tend to not really swell much. i'm going to wait until as close to the wedding to get the dress altered as i can (the biggest issue will be the length anyway since i'm only 5' and its floor length), and it's going to be big everywhere else anyway thanks to the boobs.

I had an FDL Tummy tuck and hernia repair last May and in July was walking all over New York touring and going to a wedding.  I was 7 weeks out and did fine.  I flew from Mississippi to New York through Atlanta both ways and did not have any issues.  Congratulations on getting your Masters in May.  My daughter got hers last May.

I had more work done than you and went to a sweet 16 party 3 weeks post-op. I did mostly sit, but was fine.

Are you going to get a thigh lift later? I know I need lipo, but I know my legs would look even more deflated if I did.

Congrats on the upcoming plastics!! Definitely the icing on the cake.

the skin on my legs is really good, he commented on how surprised he was about how they looked, but i have fat deposits on my front/inner thighs that i'm self-conscious of so he said to do the lipo first and see how the skin reacts. he also doesn't like doing them the same time as a tt because of how the scars meet, so if i do decide to do them i'll do it with my breast lift (and maybe brachio since now i'm thinking that will be all that won't be worked on).
