NEED OPINIONS
So I'm on my last stage of this skin removal journey ..... The breast lift!
So I go in for my final consult and we talk about a few other revisions that he is going to tie into this surgery and he says " so are you ready for me to tell you what cup size you'll be after the lift " A!!!!!!!!
WHAT!!!! He says that I am all skin and no volume, even the back skin he is going to remove will not have any usable fat in it. Just to fill you in with a few more details but I am 5'10 and weigh 193. My surgeon says that I will hate them and to consider implants and I just don't know how I feel about all of this. I really did not want them and this means financially I will most likely have to wait until next year.
I would love your thoughts.

I personally went in w/ the idea that I would always have implants. I was always large in the chest and seeing them deflate I just didn't like. I thought I'd probably be a B or so if I just did a lift and didn't think I could live w/ that. Told my Dr. I didn't want a playboy look but something that just look natural. I am completely happy w/ the look, feel and everything else associated w/ the Lift and Implants. He went w/ small implants but I ended up being a D. The good thing is they are proportionate w/ my body type and look natural. You could always just go w/ the lift for now and see if you can live w/ it. If so great you are done, if not you can have the implants put in at a later date.
How droopy are your breast now? For bariatric patients with long folds, my surgeon does the lift first and then the implants 3-6 months later. The results will be better that way, so it may be something you want to consider. I got my lift and am still thinking about implants. I'm on the fence about getting them right now.

You can still have great results even if you do it all at the same time as many of us have. I had very droopy breasts and had the lift and implants done both at the same time and have great results. It's just a matter of each surgeons opinion and each person. If someone can't afford or doesn't want to do 2 procedures and recoveries they can still get the same great results by doing it at one time.
Dr. LoMonaco is one of the best and I trust his opinion. Several people have posted here who were not happy with their results doing it at the same time. It is something people need to consider.

I'm not sure what I would do. Having been so large forever, the thought of an A cup is sort of appealing. At the same time, that could almost be too small. A full B sounds good...
Would it be an option to get the lift done now, see how you feel once you've healed, and then go for implants later if you're not entirely happy?
I guess I thought that once I did the lift that there was no way I could add implants later. Where do they get the needed skin. I really appreciate all of your opinions because I still have not decided. I'm almost thinking lift for now and see the results (if that's an option)

They don't need extra skin for the implants. They go in under the muscle and just fill out what you have. If you do it together they do the lift and take out all the extra skin and then fill in w/ the implants. That's why some have the opinion of doing it in 2 stages as the skin may be too stretched out to support the implants at the same time (or something to that effect). Guess it depends on each person. Like I said I had mine done all at the same time w/o any issues. However if you aren't sure that you want the implants and don't mind having 2 different procedures or the 2 different fees for the room & anesthesia do it in 2 stages. You should ask you surgeon what his opinion is. He is the only professional who has seen your skin and can give you the medical opinion if your skin may tolerate it in one procedure if that's what you choose to do.
Only you and your surgeon will know what is best for you. Each surgeon will have a different opinion and you have to trust yours since he is the expert you have chosen to do your procedures. Since this if the final stage I can only assume you are comfortable and satisfied w/ his work. Talk about your concerns w/ him and see what he has to say.
Oh and YES they are very droopy and deflated. I'm currently wearing a D bra but that's because I am stuffing all this skin in there. And It's frustrating because I am having to buy larger than needed bra sizes to get the ones with the larger sides so that I'm not over flowing with the side rolls.
