Honestly your best best is to stick to some basic supplements like lots of Vitamin C and B12 sublingual. - thats what Im taking now and so far so good.

Depends on what you are recovering from. For recovery from lipo, my doc recommends bromelain and arnica Montana. To be honest, I was skeptical but I have had lipo both without and with these items and my recovery was much easier with them. Could be a coincidence but could also work. I wouldn't do lipo without it now.

I second the arnica and bromeline (pineapple extract) and I second that.  I too have had a procedure with and without to compare to different body parts, but definately better with.

I may have had a few extra potholes along the way, but the journey has been good!

Arnica that's it! Although my bariatric doc didn't recommend it, I heard from lots on this forum that it helps and in addition to Vit C etc that I will take, I'm adding this. I'm having a tummy tuck and breast lift, augmentation in Nov.  I spoke to my bariatric doc who will be checking all my blood levels up to the time of surgery to ensure everything is good so I can heal well.  I'm excited on this next journey and scared at the same time.

My PCP advised me not to take Arnica due to the fact that some have problems with bleeding post op.  It's a rare side effect, but it does happen to some post plastics who take Arnica.

I didn't take it and I healed fine without any complications and very little bruising.  Even my facelift had very little bruising.

I also used Bromelain and Arnica both time I had PS.  I also used Orenda's Immune and O-Tropin - Immune helps your immune system and the O-Tropin helps rid the body of toxins, plus it's an anti-aging.

Upping your protein both before and after PS will probably do more to aid your healing.  Add a few protein shakes daily.
