what do you guys think
I went to the surgeon today they want to do the arms and do lipo on the thighs then go back when the swelling is gone and do the thigh lift. They were not very positive about the results of the thigh lift but willing to try. My legs are very heavy around the knee area. Do any of you have any good sites that have pictures of thigh lifts?
For whatever reason, I lost my weight everywhere but my thighs. My thighs are massive compared to the rest of my body. I went to Dr Sauceda in Monterrey Mexico and he admitted he had never seen anything like it. I have lost over 300 lbs and my thighs have lost - so the skin and fat (that is left) has settled above my knees. My knees would pop in and out of place when I was walking. Riding a bike and doing most anything was very difficult. Dr Sauceda and I decided to just go for it - and if need be, I would return several times until we got the result presentable. I agreed.
He lipo'd extensively. The Lipo was the most painful post op. I had many other procedures that didn't hurt at all. Absolutely painfree, but my thighs were very painful. Then he tucked and lifted. They look 80% better. And I can ride a bike and run on the treadmill and do the elliptical. I am pleased. I am returning this year for my second stage.
I have never posted pictures because my case was so odd and unusual, I didn't want others judging Dr S's work from my pictures.
12/09 and 6/11, 9 skin removal procedures with Dr. Sauceda in Monterrey Mexico
Revised to the Sleeve after losing 271 lbs with the LapBand.
In any case, the PS that I hope will help me,if I get HMO approval, told me that it would me in two stages- lipp from groin to knee and removing up to 1000cc from each thigh-and six months later the actual thigh lift.
I am hoping to have an answer back from the medical review board this week...
