has anyone been approved for breast lift by Cigna?

My insurance company has recently been changed from Blue Cross Blue Shield (which did cover Breast Reductions when medically necessary due to yeast infections and rashes) to Cigna, which from my research only seems to cover Breast Reductions when large amounts of tissue are removed from the breasts.  I have lost so much weight that I don't have much tissue to remove but have a lot of skin that needs removed, so I need a lift as I still get rashes and skin infections underneath the breasts.  I was wondering if any other members have had luck getting this surgery approved.

Thanks,

Robin

A mastopexy (breast lift) is considered cosmetic in almost all cir****tances.

HI Robin.
I am in the same boat.
I have lost a lot of weight and I need a breast lift. I do get rashes and it's just unbelievable that the insurance companies doen't think that this is medically needed.

I have HMO Aetna - California.

I need Help on how to have my insurance company to help me!
Good Luck!
