Breast reduction/lift plus brachioplasty
Hey Lesley, I wanted to check in and see how you are doing? I'm hoping to have breast lift/implants and arm lift at the same time soon. I'd love to hear about your healing process and any tricks that helped you! Also, I'm curious to know what your lifting restrictions are like. Any info helps, thanks so much!

Thanks, you're so sweet to ask! I'm doing pretty well. It's been five weeks and two days. The breasts and the arms have been fairly easy recoveries. You have to remember not to lift more than 2 lbs, and not to try to reach anything up high. I definitely recommend moving any cups or plates you might need on to the counter before surgery, so you can reach them afterward easily. I actually bought paper plates to use so I also wouldn't have to worry about running the dishwasher. The incisions were very itchy for a while, and still get itchy sometimes, but I rub them with coconut oil, and that seems to help. It also helps because I can't wear deodorant right now, and with the coconut oil, I don't need it. I technically don't have a lifting restriction anymore but I still take it easy, and I don't try to lift my arms over my head. I mistakenly did that early on and the wound under my left arm opened just a tad. It's healed up now but I consider it very delicate.
All in all, I think it was good to get arms and breasts done together. The only tough part about this surgery has been my thighs. The thighs have been much more difficult than I had expected!
Good luck with it!
I'm glad to hear you are doing well! Thanks for responding and for the tips! My biggest concern is that I stay home full time with my 3 young kids (3.5 and 1 year old twins). I just worry as far as lifting them into carseats/highchairs etc. I'm hoping if my Hubby is home with me the first two weeks to do the lifting that I'll be ok after that. I'll just have to keep lifting to an extreme minimum! Thank you!
