Hello everyone.

I was much stronger today and walked around quite a bit. The pain was less today. The most horrible thing about today was the constipation. It was just awful, even with Milk of Magnesia. But I got through it! I was able to walk around a bit, tidy up a bit, go and sit at my desk to mess with my itunes for a bit... so all was well! I took my 2nd shower, and it felt great. My husband still definitely had to help me. I decided to take a shower every other day until it's a little better and easier to move. I'm still getting in and out of the compression garment so that's a pain. After the shower I sat on a stool and my husband gave me a back scratchy above the incisions. I never felt so good since the surgery!

Doctor's appointment is tomorrow. We'll see if the four drains can come out. Here are some before and after pictures for those interested. And the doc said that the swelling will go down. My stomach looks great when i'm laying back, but it still swollen and kinda saggy looking when i'm sitting up or standing.

Boy, you look FANTASTIC.  What a great result.  I know that you must be thrilled.  It will only get better from here.  KEEP AHEAD of that constipation.  It is THE WORST.  Hydrate, hydrate, Hydrate, walk, walk, walk. You look awesome.  Keep the updates coming.

Thank you! I'm very excited. Can't wait til I can walk upright and see what it looks like. Still hunched over. He kept my original belly button so that's why the area is all swollen. I'm anxious to see how it will be when it's all done.

Awesome!! How much did he remove? I must say in clothes you hid your mid-section very well.

And thanks. I have been so picky with clothes because of the midsection (world's largest muffin top). It's going to be so freeing to buy different styles.
