Lower Body Lift on Thurs. Any advice?
Stock up on ready-to-drink protein shakes. I even brought them to the hospital. Eating was not important to me but I knew I needed to keep my nutrition up for proper healing. And solid food did not appeal to me in the least at first. Plus my abs were pulled so tight solid food hurt my tummy. RTD shakes were easy and worked for me.

Your compression garment should have an opening for using the bathroom, use an urinal, men's work fine. It was so easy and saved me a lot of pain. I would use it standing and urinating was no big deal.
For bandages and serum leakage I used "puppy pads" from PetSmart. The ones with the blue underside are the best. Costco sells puppy pads also, but they are a little thinner. I put them under my bottom fitted bedsheet to keep them from moving around in the bed and also a layer on top of the bedsheet.
Want a cheap bandage for leakage (they do get expensive)? I folded a puppy pad into quarters and put it under my compression garment, but on top of the tape that was directly on the wounds.
Nothing to wear to the doctor's office during this time? I just gave up and showed up in a bathrobe. Made life simple, and no one really cared.
