I ran! I ran! 1 month after LBL and BL
Dr. Jack said I could try running when I was one month out....well.....I was out power walking last night, 3 days before my one month....and I decided to try a few sprints just to see how running felt. IT WAS AMAZING! I had no idea how much all that extra skin was bouncing around until I ran without it! All in all, I finished 2.5 miles in 40 minutes, running about 3/4 of a mile total (didn't want to overdo it).
Today I feel great (except my butt and leg muscles are sore) and I can't wait to run again Saturday morning!
Healing is exceptional, and I'm now sleeping like a normal person again....sleeping all night, flat and can even roll on my sides now!!
I am so excited for you. I can't wait to get back to my daily run!
I am soooo jealous!!! My PS said absolutely no running until 6 weeks, so I am still walking but wear a weighted vest to add to the leg workout. I am now 4 1/2 weeks after extended TT and Breast Lift!!
Good for you!!!
I am creating my own revolution and PAMdemonium reigns!

Im totally jealous. I could only dream of running at this point, and im 3 weeks out. But, I plan on finding some women's running shorts that I couldnt wear before because of the massive sagging thighs and taking a run one day in the near future :)

Good for you!! I ripped a hole in my lbl incision at the 4 week mark. No way I was risking any more damage. I don't think I did any exercise until about month 3.
