Ever fear of Attention, plus determining size on BA

I have been churning the idea of a BA and/or tummy tuck around in my head since before I even had the surgery.  And though I have other questions/concerns, I keep coming back to one:  how would I feel about the potential newfound attention mostly from a breast enlargement.

Admittedly, this was a concern of mine for having weight loss surgery.  I wondered how life would be out from behind what I had begun to view as my costume or mask.  Was I really ready for that?  As it turned out those fears were pretty dumb and I feel greatly liberated to be just who I am.

I do worry about the BA still, though.  You see, that is one of the only areas where I have never carried weight...EVER!  I'm not replacing anything up there 'cause I didn't have anything to begin with.  I have this dilemma:  between my unendowed chest, and my larger size for the majority of my life, I learned really quickly to not think of myself as "sexy."  And on the one hand I really want to assert this sexy, powerful, feminine side, that even now, at my goal weight, is lacking because of my bust size.  At the same time, never having felt that way about myself nor received much attention of that sort, I'm a little freaked out about the potential ramifications.  I wonder if I'm the only one who's felt this way.

I'm getting married this summer and my fiance had suggested to me that if I want 'em before the wedding, better skip to it now.

Also, anyone's doctor make size recommendations.  I know the cc's/cup size vary so greatly dependent on ribcage, height, weight, expectations and so forth, but what I'm getting at is size limitations dependent on your current size.  I have tried to find some guidelines on the internet to no avail.  Because I was only ever an A, if that at my largest, and a AA-cup now, I wonder if everything will lead to stretch marks.  Thanks for the info guys

Hi! I got Bl/Ba and brachioplasty Aug 29. It was an easy surgery. My doctor went a little larger than I said I wanted but I am pleased with the results. I have 375cc saline. I wear a 36c. I was always about a 36b prior to wgtloss. I am 5'3", 124 lbs. I workout. Of the people I know who had BA, they all wish they had gone larger than they did. I did a lot of research viewing before and after photos for people with similar build and anatomy and felt it helped me with a decision. Good luck!

Get some consults ASAP and see what the surgeons say. You may need to schedule now if you want it done and want to be healed by your wedding.

I just had mine done Nov. 16th, I had boobs before so I was just filling up what I had.   I did 650cc and I did a tummy tuck at the same time.  I went to my daughters soccer game the next day, black friday shopping a week later and back to work 8 days later.  I don't know if you have a high pain tolerance like me, but it was definitely not as bad as I thought it was going to be.  I have before pictures and I am waiting for my swelling to go down (about 3 months) before I take after pictures... I say do it, accept that you are hot and relish in all the new attention!!!

I had BA in 2008. What was suggested to me before I had surgery was to take a Tshirt and sport bra to the office appointment with me the day the surgeon and I were to decide size/profile of implant and  "try on" different sizes of implants inside the sport bra. That is what I did and it was very helpful for me to see what the different sizes of implants would look like on me. It helped me make the right decision for me which I still do not regret 4.5 years later :) ..........Good luck to you!
