So, its been nearly a yr post extended TT and breast lift and implants. Well, my implants bottomed out. I will need a revision. If they know that this may happen why not put a suture at the bottom?

Thanks,

Michelle

Was your breast lift/implants done in one stage or two? Just curious.

I'm sorry to hear you may need another surgery, but I'm curious to better understand what you mean by "bottom out".  Do you mean they slipped downward and are no longer in the breast area?  Or are they teardrop shaped and you mean they rotated?  Sorry for dumb questions, I'm trying to learn as much about PS as possible.

Good luck with your revision, I hope you keep us posted!!  Are you going to do any other PS since you'll be going under for a breast revision?

Nutshell:

Lost 140 lbs with VSG. (Hooray!!)

got pregnant  (yeaaaa!)

got cancer (boooo!)

regained 40 lbs.   (grrrr!)

In summary: Alive & Grateful.

Its when the breast implants falls below the breast fold/crease. Instead of being full above the nipple... its full below. I wear a bra all the time too. so frustrating. The breast looks like a ski slope. to the nipple then adds fullness below the nipple. I almost want the implant removed. So mad.

I really don't want to have any more PS. The recovery and healing took alot. I cant see spending more money especially when revisions are a potential.

Michelle, we had surgery around the same time. I'm so sorry you're going though this. It must be really frustrating.

Michelle,
I had the same issue, it sucks, I agree. I got them fixed almost 3 weeks ago. The surgeon did the fix under local in his office. They look great now. They don't put suture at the bottom because it doesn't usually happen. Luckily it can be fixed. Mine look great now. Good luck )

Local anesthesia, took about 1 1/2 hr. The initial incision was lolipop, so this incision was under the breast sort of u shaped. The surgeon stitches the weak area then sews it back up. It wasn't bad at all, just pretty sore after the local wore off for a couple days. Well worth it for the end result, and scar is no big deal because it is under the breast and can't really be seen. Don't worry, it's no worse than the original breast job.

My surgeon (and the other two I consulted) required a two stage process for just that reason. Although I was initially upset about not getting them both at once - the lift and implant, now I am thrilled! Best of luck to you honey
