I've been doing protein drinks 3 times a day because I've literally been "full" after three bites of food!!! It feels like I've eaten a four course meal after a few bites! It's strange. I'm 19 days post abdominoplasty currently.

Same here! I actually have a permanent migraine right now because I know I'm not eating enough. It's like I had my bypass all over again!  I guess I'm just going to have to eat as soon as the food goes down?? OY! Makes me feel like a piggy :(  I've been trying to stick to "mushy" or "slider" foods that have nutrients in them as solids fill me up WAY too fast.

Seriously, I was just telling my nurse, I feel like I was 1 month post RNY.  I just can't eat.  Glad to know that it is just not me, like you, I am getting headaches, I thought it was from a sinus thing, but given your post, I agree, it is lack of food. I am drinking , protein shakes - at least once a day, (mine have 35 grams per drink, so I will up those to three times a day.  And just keep plugging along with slider or no-slider foods.  It's crazy how little food that we can eat.  I did not know this about aspect of PS.

I'm only 2 days post LBL & BL and I feel the same. I am forcing myself to eat a few bites.

Same boat! I didn't have wls either....I wonder if it is the swelling and the binders?? I find standing and eating helps a little...but when I sit down it is like the food is being pushed back up.

It does get better.  Between the swelling and compression garment, it made it tough to eat.  Just keep eating a few bites every hour.  It's more important to get your water in.   Treat yourself like a new WLS patien****er every 5min and a few bites of food or shakes as you can handle it.
