Do you have to be at goal weight?

I really would like to have some plastics done but at this point I think I won't be losing anymore.  I am about a size 10 pants, 8 skirts, medium tops.....

I know my goal weight is probably 20 lbs more to go.  But I have been pretty stable at this weight for 6 mos. My revision was a year ago.

My biggest fear is going for consultations and the drs. telling me I have to lose more weight.  Do they weigh you?  Being overweight all of my life I hate being weighed at drs. offices!  Everyone tells me I look like an average size person.

I just am sick of the saggy boobs, arms, and stomach!

I an not what many doctors would consider goal.  But I have lost 185 lbs and have only lost 10 in the last year.  The P.S. I consulted with we're more concerned with my extra skin, expectations and general overall health.  I am currently at 205 lbs and had my rm lift and breast lift done 2 days ago.  Initially they didn't weigh me and went with what I write down but they did weigh be before putting me under anesthesia.

If you feel your ready to start plastics, go for it!

I had my 360 at 204 last year and my thigh lift 2 weeks ago at 196. I'm self pay and nothing was ever said about my weight. I am at a realistic weight that I can maintain. Highest weight was 405.

If you're happy where you're at and you're not going to lose more - I would say, go for it!  Some doctors do weigh because they prefer to not to operate on someone who has a BMI greater than 30.  The risk of complication is much higher if you have a higher BMI.

I had my surgery before I reached goal for mobility issues.  I had chronic back pain from the excess skin that hung down from my panni.  I had lost over 250lbs at the time.  I did have to have a revision.  If you lose more after your plastics, you will have to have a revision to maintain a good result.

I asked the same question this past Spring.  I too thought I needed to lose more... at about 10 pounds.  I had maintained awhile, so finally made the decision to go in.  I was never once weighed!  He checked my stomach and arms... and said I was a good candidate, and should expect good results.  That consult was in August, and I had my TT and upper arm lift 2 and 1/2 weeks ago.... recovering well!  Don't let your doubts stop you from at least getting a consult.  You deserve to talk to someone about it.... if you don't like what they have to say, make changes or look elsewhere... you know yourself and your body!! :)  Let us know!

I had the DS and expected to lose down to a normal BMI, didn't happen.  I was weight stable for 2 yrs when I had my PS.  If you are happy with your body and have done everything you can to lose then go for it.   I'm still in size 9 jeans, some 8 shorts - but went from large to medium tops.  Love my Saucedas!  No more push, pull, fold, arrange to look natural!  My new bewbies are wonderful!

Look at the pictures on my profile about what is possible with a LBL.  You'll also see my rear end is smaller too, and I was also not at goal weight.  I've been maintaining for a while now, and still want to lose more, but I don't have the time to spend doing what I need to do right now.  I'm happy I got it done when I got it done, and it was also a now or never situation as well.
