AM I Crazy? Pain after 14 months

Hello All,

I had an abdominoplasty and paniculectomy in Aug 2011.  I still have a huge amount of discomfort, and pain across my lower abdomen.  Feels like a rubber band is stretched toooo tightly around me, and it gets very painful as the day wears on. I cannot go without a binder/spanx for more than a few hours.  Is this normal?? I am sooo frustrated by the constant pain, it hurts all the time but feels slightly better when I stand. Has anyone had a similar experience??

My lbl/bl was in June 2011. I felt that way in the beginning but no pain at all now. What does your surgeon say??

I am seeing him next week.  Just looking for idea's as to what this could be.  Wondering if I am supposed to feel this much pain so far out from surgery.  I'm thinking No! And I'm scared about what this pain might mean.  Thank you for your response!

I'm glad you're going to see your surgeon. I'm not sure what it could be, either. Keep us posted!!

I'm 22mo out, and haven't had any pain since the first couple of months.  I do swell and by the end of evening, I'm generally back in my garment for the night.  Look great in the am and start again.   Check with your PS.
