Anyone had a scar revision

I asked the surgeon about a scar revison on my lower right abdomen. It is higher than the other side which looks off, but it feels tight likes it's on the front hip bone. (sorry don't know what else to call it) It doesn't hurt but feels weird at all times. I believe the incison will be about a foot long and she will lower it down to get it off the hip bone as it were.

Her board agreed to do a revsion at no charge. They said I can come in and they can do it in an hour, with no anesthesia, just give me a local and I can drive myself home. I will have lifting restrictions for a month of about 5-10 pounds. Will have to wear my binders for the wholle time though.

Just curious if anyone has had anything remotely similar done. Did you take a couple days off work or longer? Any pain meds, soreness, changing bandages, etc.

Any comments or thoughts are appreciated.

Thanks,
Bubba

My revisions were small and done at same time as Breast Lift but pain in this revision areas was much less. I tend toward "complications" so it takes ne longer to heal in any case.
Go for it! You deserve to feel great about yourself.
