Hello I don't post much on here but I had my tummy tuck on Monday, so 4 days ago and today my world is spinning and I feel faint. Im quite nauseous and I just don't feel 'right' is this normal? Im scared, and at the moment Im home alone while my hubby is dropping off our daughter at school.

Hi Brooke,

I am a little late here but I hope you are ok.  If you keep feeling this way, I think a call to the Dr. would be best.  Take care!!!

Are you dehydrated?  Drinking enough water?  Only time we see light-headedness is when folks take off their compression garment before getting into the shower.... We have them take it off, then sit on the side of the bed for 20-30 min.

I just stayed at the foot of our ottoman in the living room until my husband returned home (it was only about 10 minutes that he was gone) and then he helped me into bed. I rested, and woke up vomiting Talk about .pain. I was getting blurred vision with the patch I was prescribed for nausea and had chosen not to put it on this morning. Bad call. I've since put another patch on, drank a couple protein shakes and am have been feeling much better than this morning.

I typically have a pretty high pain tolerance, but this tummy tuck is getting the best of me!

I'm still taking the Percocet every 4 hours, and about 45 mins before its due to be time to take it again my body reminds me of how much pain it's in!

I thank you ladies for the response, I've never had plastics before, this was my first round and at this point I'm thinking I'll just stick with the tummy! Too much pain! I had also planned on getting a medial thigh lift and brachioplasty but I am not feeling it anymore. lol

I did get a little bit of movement in my saddle bag area as well as inner thigh since my incision was so low to help with my mons area which was very bulbess (sp) So that was a pleasant surprise!
